Hi, first make sure that the "START_FIREWALL" option is set to "yes" in /etc/sysconfig/config (and make other adjustments as you need), so the firewall script starts on boot Next, in /etc/sysconfig/nic/ you have to create one file for each network interface you have (for example, ifcfg-eth0, take a look at the sample files). You can also add static routes as you wish, it's all well explained in the sample files. Finally, you have to set your firewall rules in /etc/init.d/firewall.rules (there are sample files there too, named firewall.rules.2nic and firewall.rules.3nic). To set the firewall rules I suggest using "fwbuilder" (www.fwbuilder.org), an application that you can use to set the rules in a graphical interface, and then compile it to create the "firewall.rules" file. Then copy it to /etc/init.d/, run the firewall script to reload the rules and that's it. I'm not a Linux expert either but the DL documentation is really good and it helped me a lot (http://www.devil-linux.org/documentation/1.2.x/). I have configured a firewall with 3 interfaces a couple of months ago and it works great.
