Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,
LevArris just announced version 3.0.2 of Bacula on freshmeat.net.
The changes are as follows:
This release fixes problems with PostgreSQL, cleans up old job records when
starting the Director, fixes an issue in xattr, and allows selecting files for
restore from Copy Jobs. Its enhancements include better security for the File
Daemon, a new directive to specify the source address for outgoing connections,
and display of volume availability in autochanger when doing restores. The
estimate command was improved, an option to construct a full restore from a
JobId was added, and a new Nagios plugin was added.
Bacula is a set of programs that allow you to manage the backup, recovery, and
verification of computer data across a network of different computers. It is
based on a client/server architecture and is efficient and relatively easy to
use, while offering many advanced storage management features that make it easy
to find and recover lost or damaged files.
