The changes in this release are as follows:
Cylinders are now recalculated when the kernel returns a truncated
value, thus allowing hdparm to show more correct geometries for very
large (TB+) drives. CF card detection was improved, and the display of
their MWDMA modes 3 and 4 was improved.

hdparm is a Linux shell utility for viewing and manipulating various
IDE drive and driver parameters. Most drives can benefit from improved
performance using a command similar to "hdparm -qm8 -qu1 -qc1 -qd1
