This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.0.19' of
'Postfix' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can
be found at
The changes in this release are as follows:
This version fixes two low-priority problems. When mail was submitted
at a high rate with the Postfix sendmail command, the pickup daemon
was kept busy long enough that it was terminated by the watchdog
timer (a feature that prevents Postfix from locking up permanently).
Malformed addresses in SMTP commands could result in table looks with
zero-length search strings, causing trouble with NIS lookups.
Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used
Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer,
and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail
compatible enough to not upset your users.
