VTun is the easiest way to create Virtual Tunnels over TCP/IP networks

"multi-session" (multi-border) DVD-R and DVD+R. cdrecord -atip output
for DVD media was enhanced and updated for DVD+R/DL and HD-DVD. New
mkisofs options -posix-H, -posix-L, and -posix-P implement the -H,
-L, and -P options defined by POSIX.1-2001. The short inline help for
mkisofs now prints a short overview of the most important options in
80x24 characters.

cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs/DVDs with a
CDR/CDRW/DVD recorder. It works as a burn engine for several
applications. It supports CD/DVD recorders from many different
vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also
work. Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI
drives, audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session
support, CDRWs (rewritable), DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, TAO, DAO, RAW, and
human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes remote SCSI support

The sysstat package contains the sar, sadf, iostat and mpstat,
commands for Linux. The sar command collects and reports system
activity information. The sadf command may be used to display data
collected by sar in various formats (XML, database-friendly, etc.).
The iostat command reports CPU statistics and I/O statistics for tty
devices and disks. The mpstat command reports global and
per-processor statistics. The information collected by sar can be
saved in a file in a binary format for future inspection. The
statistics reported by sar concern I/O transfer rates, paging
activity, process-related activites, interrupts, network activity,
memory and swap space utilization, CPU utilization, kernel
activities, and TTY statistics, among others. Both UP and SMP
machines are fully supported.

Project description:
The stunnel program is designed to work as an SSL encryption wrapper
between remote client and local (inetd-startable) or remote server.
It can be used to add SSL functionality to commonly used inetd
daemons like POP2, POP3, and IMAP servers without any changes in the
programs' code. It will negotiate an SSL connection using the OpenSSL
or SSLeay libraries. It calls the underlying crypto libraries, so
stunnel supports whatever cryptographic algorithms you compiled into
your crypto package.

cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs/DVDs with a
CDR/CDRW/DVD recorder. It works as a burn engine for several
applications. It supports CD/DVD recorders from many different
vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also
work. Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI
drives, audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session
support, CDRWs (rewritable), DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, TAO, DAO, RAW, and
human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes remote SCSI support

Project description:
Vobcopy copies DVD .vob files to hard disk (thanks to libdvdread),
decrypting them on the way (if libdvdcss is installed) and merges
them into 2 GB files (or larger) with the name extracted from the
DVD. It checks for enough free space on the destination drive and
compares the copied size to the size on DVD (in case something went
wrong during the copying). It can also mirror a whole DVD video part
and copy single files.

amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable  interface between MTAs
and one or more content checkers, including virus scanners, and/or the
Mail::SpamAssassin Perl module. It talks to an MTA via (E)SMTP or

design, which could cause a mail loss. It is normally positioned at
or near a central mailer, not necessarily where the user's mailboxes
and final delivery takes place.

Project description:
CUPS provides a portable printing layer for Unix(r)-based operating
systems. It has been developed to promote a standard printing
solution for all Unix vendors and users. CUPS provides the System V
and Berkeley command line interfaces, and uses the Internet Printing
Protocol ("IPP") as the basis for managing print jobs and queues. The
Line Printer Daemon (LPD) Server Message Block (SMB), and AppSocket
(a.k.a. JetDirect) protocols are also supported with reduced
functionality. CUPS adds network printer browsing and PostScript
Printer Description ("PPD") based printing options to support real
world printing under UNIX. It includes an image file RIP that
supports printing of image files to non-PostScript printers. A
customized version of GNU Ghostscript 7.05 for CUPS called ESP
Ghostscript is available separately to support printing of PostScript
files within the CUPS driver framework. Sample drivers for Dymo,
EPSON, HP, and OKIDATA printers are included that use these filters.
