I have the same problem.I tried 1.4.1.-i486, 1.4.1.-i686 version, and both of them restart after loading initial ramdisk without error screen. i have done a new test with the 1.4.2 and apache but no luck:

I added a couple of extra apache modules this time around, but they shouldn't cause any issues if they're not loaded. I have a web server running with that version and it's fine. You could try removing parts of the config file and see if it changes anything. Maybe don't load any modules and playing with other parts.
