In case you're not aware I've just noticed the DL mirror Linjection HTTP is not 
very reflective.  It doesn't seem to have been updated since November.

Quick question for ya if you don't mind. I'm new to linux but have been
around Unix (solaris) more than 8 - 10 years ago. I've heard that DL is the
best way to go for firewall. I'm trying to setup firewall at home. My
question is how can I obtain NIC modules for network cards that don't seem
to be listed in the module setup portion of DL?

Thanks in advanced. The cards I'm using are PCMCIA 3Com cards ( 3c589D 10MB)
x2 and (3ccfe574bt 10/100MB) x2

They look like fairly standard PCMCIA cards with PCMCIA support.  I'm 
not sure why the PCMCIA modules are not available.  Someone else on the 
list might know.

The problem is that DL is CD based system and you can't just install 
modules or programs (because it's read-only filesystem).

If you really need to add them then you have to build your own image.

You have to start the PCMCIA sub system.
Turn this on in /etc/sysconfig/config.
For testing just run /etc/init.d/pcmcia start .
