Hi, I got into trouble with the DL 0.5b5. - I couldn't make work the snmp package. The DL just refuse to start as so= on as I try to install de package turning the INSTALL_UCD-SNMP to yes in the software = file. My system seems to run out of memory at starting. (I got a pentium-mmx 200 wi= th 64Mb) It stops after the line "freeing unused kernel memory". Does anybody use D= L5b5 with such an old staff and suceed in making it work for SNMP? - I was using sshd with DL0.5.3b without any trouble. I couldn't make it w= ork with the 5.5b. The system start and crash with strange screen output. - iptables2 is not working either giving a segmentation fault when I try t= o start it. Is my old pentium mmx too old for this kind of job? Thanks for help. Alexis Pellicier Lyc=E9e Notre Dame de Sion Ale...@nd... |

Hi, I would guess, that one of your memory modules is defect. Can you replace the entire memory for a test ? Otherwise your computer should work without any problems. cu Heiko |
