Hi - I am getting familiar with the DL build process and have managed to add a couple of programs into the distro I needed. However I cant change the processor type for the kernel. Changing the env vars HOSTTYPE and MACHTYPE doesnt do it, and editing .config wont do it either. what's the right way? Thanks, Ed |

What's about sharing those programs? ;-) -- Regards Heiko We are Penguin, resistance is futile! http://www.devil-linux.org |

The trick is to modify the output of /bin/uname. Check it out, it's already a script which call /bin/uname.old and changes the output. -- Regards Heiko We are Penguin, resistance is futile! http://www.devil-linux.org |
