Asunto: [Devil-Linux-discuss] Running D-L on a Cyrix Media GX
Last month I tried to install D-L on a Cyrix Media GX
PC only to have the kernel boot-up die in it's early
Anyway, now I have a lean and mean kernel built for an
i586 with no PCI or SCSI support. I'm running Squid
and Dan's Guardian for web filtering.
Thanks for the info. I didn't see a Cyrix processor
selection on the 2.4.19 kernel build menu. I'm going
to stick with my kluged PCI-less kernel since it works
for me. It's nice to see that they seem to have
addressed the problem, though.
