I had the same problem a week ago.
Just add the following rules to "etc/init.d/firewall.rules":
$IPTABLES -t nat -P POSTROUTING DROP
$IPTABLES -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
By this way u can ping from inside to outside, to surf the web, but u have
to enable firewalling rules yet!
