Christian, All the missing python modules are now included. This turned out to be a bit more complicated, since I had to make some significant changes to how python modules get included. The new solution is much more flexible and will make it a lot easier to add python modules. (similar to how perl is handled). I'll upload a new testing release in the next couple of days. Hello Heiko,
Thanks for the update. We approach the goal.
I think that misses some Python modules
When I launch crm I get the following output
root@DL1:~ # crm
Fatal error:
No module named lxml
No module named modules
Failed to start crmsh! This is likely due to a broken
installation or a missing dependency.
If you are using a packaged version of crmsh, please try
reinstalling the package. Also check your PYTHONPATH and
make sure that the crmsh module is reachable.
Please file an issue describing your installation at
https://github.com/Clusterlabs/crmsh/issues/ .

Hi Heiko, rngd will not work for me, because it's not easy to provide the qemu-vm with /dev/random from the host (virtio-rng module). Tried yesterday without luck. See also here: http://pve.proxmox.com/pipermail/pve-devel/2015-June/015388.html For virtualized devil-linux is haveged much easier ;-) Udo Am 2016-09-24 15:36, schrieb Heiko Zuerker: > Udo, > > We do have the rng-tools included, which provides rngd. Hi Heiko, if devil-linux run as VM the entropy isn't very high. For some workloads (like TLS/SSL) this can produce strange effects - slow systems because the process wait for valid random. haveged* can be very helpful for this and it's a very small software (all together less than one MB): root@devil-linux:/ # cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail 198 root@devil-linux:/ # /opt/sbin/haveged root@devil-linux:/ # cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail 2424 Of course, I can write an startscript if you include haveged. Thanks a lot! It works great now! Since I've signed up for this list, I also think I should let you know about a couple of issues I've had in the past: I've been getting a minor firewall rules error: "RTNETLINK answers: Address family not supported by protocol" According to http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/28262/ip-rule-for-ipv6, it appears to be related to a kernel option that isn't enabled by default: CONFIG_IPV6_MULTIPLE_TABLES . I don't really have IPv6 yet, so it's probably okay, but it might be useful in the future. Also, looking back at when I had the PII, the system wouldn't power off at shutdown due to the "apm" module not being available, but I understand if support for those old systems is waning. I got along by not performing a shutdown, most of the time. Neither is a major issue, so please only look at them as suggestions. Thanks for the awesome distro! I love the new version, Lucas On Fri, Sep 2, 2016 at 7:20 AM, Heiko Zuerker <he...@zu...> wrote: > Sorry guys, completely forgot to upload a new version. I could be wrong to be using the images at ftp://ftp.devil-linux.org/pub/ devel/testing/ to fix the Illegal Instruction squid crashes I'm seeing but I thought I had read that they had been fixed there. Instead, are they fixed only in CVS? I had tried ftp://ftp.devil-linux.org/pub/ devel/testing/devil-linux-1.8.0-rc2-2016-08-13-x86_64.tar.xz after noticing the issue when upgrading to 1.8.0-rc1 but it still gives me the "Illegal Instruction" error. When 1.8.0-rc1 failed, I tried upgrading my system (from a PII) to a an Athlon 64 dual core, thinking that would work, but it didn't. When this is settled, I may want to go back to the PII, but for now I'm entertaining the idea of keeping the overkill athlon dual core. The only system I have been able to run it on is a second generation intel core i5 (I just tested it with my fastest gaming machine, but won't be using it). Anyway, are images available with the squid compilation working on lowest common denominator i686 or x86_64 yet? I'm excited that there's a new devil linux version out and wish I could use it. Thanks for updating everything, it must be a huge undertaking. |

Hey, I looked into this and all the crm binaries are there and corosync & pacemaker started for me. Do you have a specific error message you can share? Did you start with a vanilla config or are you upgrading something? Udo, Awesome! I'm glad this fixed it. Yes I received your files, just didn't have time to review and test it. Hopefully next weekend will be less busy. Thanks for getting it done.
