Hi Heiko, et al I know that you are working on a new version of devil-linux. While doing so, could you please upgrade shorewall to the 4.6 branch (latest stable) and include the shorewall-init package? Many thanks Martin |

Olibouli. Do the modules e1000 or e1000e work? They come with the Kernel itself and should be much more current. I'll add a note to update the other drivers. Not sure when I'll get around to it, since I'm currently busy with working on DL 1.7.0 (Kernel 3.16, new gcc, new glibc, etc.). Udo, A new build with the latest 3.2 kernel and latest e2fsprogs is now available. You can download it from here: ftp://ftp.devil-linux.org/pub/devel/testing (The upload will be finished about an hour from the time I sent this email) Hopefully this will resolve your issue with the large file system. Hi Heiko, thanks! No, I'm not in a hurry - just now I leave for one week holiday. After that it will be great if I can expand the filesystem with devil-linux. Hi, just try to expand an ext4-filesystem up to 22TB and it's fails, because (it's looks so for me) the e2fsprogs are too old. Or is it an limit of the kernel? That was my mistake. I must have downloaded the wrong file. It was supposed to stay at 1.0.1. I'll try to correct it this weekend. Hi Heiko, I take a look in the SVM Changes-File to see, if OpenSSL 1.0.1k is allready applied. And there is "updated openssl to 1.0.0q" below 1.6.9. Why DL switch from 1.0.1j to 1.0.0q (and not 1.0.2)? Udo |

Doron, I looked into this and nut needed a compatibility library for libusb. It's added in CVS now and the driver blazer_usb is now getting build. It'll be in the next testing release, which I'll hopefully upload later this week. Heiko, Thanks for including latest version of nut in the new version. That being said, the missing driver - "blazer_usb", integral part of nut - seems to still be missing in 1.6.8 (only blazer_ser is available). Why does this happen? Can it be fixed? I don't see ntp in the list of upgraded packages following a slew of security vulnerabilities disclosed in December (CVE-2014-9293 CVE-2014-9294 CVE-2014-9295 CVE-2014-9296). Can you upgrade it for the next release ? Philippe |

The patch is in CVS. I googled around, but couldn't find a version that would work with our glibc version. I have a feeling that we'll need to adapt the upstream patch: https://sourceware.org/git/?p=glibc.git;a=commitdiff_plain;h=d5dd6189d506068ed11c8bfa1e1e9bffde04decd Does anybody have the bandwidth to tackle that one?
