[Devil-linux-develop] possible bug?

The second time a complete rebuild is done, there is some strange failure:

1 (fresh lfs)
2 make unpack && make menuconfig && make prepare && make build && make install
3 make mrproper clean && make unpack && make menuconfig && make prepare && make build ->
4 (this error)

you were right. now its working, lmsensors support etc. this is a good thing (tm).

maybe it is time to release a new version? we have profiles, everything is working, new kernel version....

Almost everything is working....
I introduced 3 major security enhancements over the last few days, one 
is to compile almost all programs as ET_DYN, I added libsafe and the 
Kernel is now compiled with the SSP.

There are a few more things in the pipe, which I would like to get done 
first.

under high load i was geting some kernel panic errors with previous kernel versions.

i didn't have time to mess with 2.4.23, but i hope they're solved.

how safe is to use the et_dyn/libsafe/ssp patches ? (about kernel stability, etc)?

do you use it, or know someone that is using them?

I'm using it, I updated today my server.
I'm re-compiling over night and will then update again.

The only problems so far are the ones with sagator (solved) and cipe 
(we'll see tomorrow).
