Can you change it in the .config file and add EXPERIMENTAL ? -- Regards Heiko Zuerker http://www.devil-linux.org |

I should be able to give it a try tomorrow (when it compiles). cya Heiko |

I need my build host for the release of 1.0.2 , so somebody else would have to test it further. Or you remind me again in a couple of days. ;-) cya Heiko |

Hey I was just taking a quick look at the alsa-driver script and here some tips which make you life easier and keep the style: * configure Use for the configure scripts i.e. --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc Otherwise the program will look later for the directory /data/build/tmp/ISO/blabla * make install (1) Take a look at the Makefile and see if they offer the use of the variable DESTDIR or INSTALL_ROOT. Check other scripts to see a sample how to use it. Install the stuff in into the directory $WORKDIR/tmp : make install DESTDIR=$WORKDIR/tmp Copy the files from there to the approperiate directories. cya Heiko |

Yes, i've checked this, and the script in the cvs is ok. I need to use full paths since depmod needs them on the make install stage. i looked very careful at this issue, and things have to be done like that. alsa-drivers have only the kernel modules, and they don't relay on paths. -- -- gnupg keyfingerprint -- 48AF 5BF9 8F54 2966 64CC 2327 7CD0 DD91 B09D 5799 -- Use of a keyboard or mouse may be linked to serious injuries or disorders.
