As I currently want to test only one of the build scripts at a given
time I did patch the build script a little bit. Let me show you what
you can do now:
* chroot to devil-linux build tree
* cd /data/build (should be automatically there after a chroot anyways)
make mrproper prepare
* now just run the build script(s) you want to test like this
./build.sh build opt=prepare
./build.sh build opt=linux
./build.sh build opt=patch-o-matic
or the equivalent
./build.sh build opt=prepare build opt=linux build opt=patch-o-matic
NOTE: the "opt=" option will force a build of a special
build script even if it has already been built before
(the tmp/.build_done_xxxSCRIPTNAME file exists)
NOTE: the "opt=" option works for the build options "build", "install"
NOTE: Take a look at the "scripts/build", "scripts/install" or
"scripts/iso" directories to check if some other software
needs to get installed before the one you are trying to
This should speed you up while testing to implement a build script
for any software you want to add to devil-linux.
As a side note, the "DL_DIR" variable had to move from "Makefile"
to "scripts/build.sh" to get this running.
