This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.3.0' of 'GNU
nano' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be
found at
http://freshmeat.net/projects/nano/
The changes in this release are as follows:
New features include the addition of a -d option (for those FreeBSD
users with Backspace keys that act like Delete keys), the ability to
repeat the last search without prompting, the ability to search for
the beginning or end of a paragraph, new smooth paging routines to go
with the smooth scrolling routines, and various improvements to the
input and display routines to make them behave more intuitively. It
also includes the usual load of bugfixes. This is the first release
in the unstable 1.3.x series.
Project description:
GNU nano (Nano's ANOther editor, or Not ANOther editor) is an enhanced
clone of the Pico text editor.
