This email is to inform you of release '1.1.12-20021124' of 'Postfix'
through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found
The changes in this release are as follows:
This version fixes a malformed address problem. The garbage in
"user@..."@domain address forms may cause the SMTP or LMTP client
to terminate with a fatal error exit because garbage/tcp is not an
existing service. This cannot be abused to cause the SMTP or LMTP
client to send data into unauthorized ports.
Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used
Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer,
and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail
compatible enough to not upset your users.
