This email is to inform you of release '4.03' of 'Stunnel' through
freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at
http://freshmeat.net/projects/stunnel/
The changes in this release are as follows:
In this version, NT Service (broken since 4.01) is operational again,
a memory leak in FORK environments was fixed, the sigprocmask()
mistake was corrected, struct timeval is now reinitialized before
select(), EAGAIN is handled in client.c for AIX, and the manual page
was updated.
Project description:
The stunnel program is designed to work as an SSL encryption wrapper
between remote client and local (inetd-startable) or remote server.
It can be used to add SSL functionality to commonly used inetd
daemons like POP2, POP3, and IMAP servers without any changes in the
programs' code. It will negotiate an SSL connection using the OpenSSL
or SSLeay libraries. It calls the underlying crypto libraries, so
stunnel supports whatever cryptographic algorithms you compiled into
your crypto package.
