This email is to inform you of release '1.1.11-20020819' of 'Postfix'
through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found
The changes in this release are as follows:
This release features "mail loop" notification for moderators when
broken mail pickup software feeds postings back to a list. The queue
manager will now log "helpful" suggestions when the active queue
becomes congested with too much mail going to only a few
destinations. There is also a new "hold" queue for mail that must not
be delivered until it has been approved, with a HOLD action in the
header/body_check files, and postsuper commands to manipulate mail
that is "on hold".
Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used
Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer,
and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail
compatible enough to not upset your users.
