Hi List,



in the good old days of DOS we had the possibility to check the state of the
RS232 ports.

(In Basic I have tested if GND and another port was connected inp(PORT +
PIN) )...

How can i realise that in cpp under win32 ???

I have to check if a circuit is closed  (alert system)...


I know that you can not longer get direct access to the hardware ...



does any one have an idea or better an example ???
