[Dev-C++] can't debug

the program always ask to compile with debug info but it never works .  gdb
seems to be there.  iam running windows 7  :(

I found the.sulution in compiler options. Never the less the dialog
for compiling debug info doesn't affect the compiler

You are not alone, having problems with the integrated debugger.

Best is to run the debugging outside Dev-C++.

By the way - have you tried out the Code::Blocks IDE?
