[Dev-C++] Error -1073741819

Howdy!!
I am Kind of thrown back by an error message that makes no sense to me. 
When compiling a small program I get an error message saying:
Compiler: Default compiler
Building Makefile: "C:\maya\dev\jme\newaccount\Makefile.win"
Executing  make clean
rm -f main.o newaccount.o ../gnu_io/gnu_io.o ../date/date.o ../account/account.o ../exception/exception.o ../io_base/io_base.o ../money/money.o ../name/name.o ../strtools/strtools.o  NewAccount.exe

g++.exe -c main.C -o main.o -I"C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/gcc/mingw32/3.4.2/include"   

make.exe: *** [main.o] Error -1073741819

Execution terminated

Does anyone know what could be causing this error message?

Probably a simple note but you don't show your code so how can anyone know how 
to help you.

I've never seen just this but. . . . .perhaps others have and we've seen lots 
of  error messages or we've not been doing anything at all.
