[Dev-C++] I am a new user ... I get a compile message ..

Permission Denied . the log says not authorized to the file . I was told
this happens when the program is running . Nothing is running.

 

Any suggestions. I have reloaded the software more than once!!

How do you know that nothing is running. A hung application - or a hung
linker or compiler - will stay in memory and lock files. Have you really
scanned all applications in the Task Manager? Have you tried to reboot?
