#256 CVS: set HOME var on pre-win2k systems
Running "cvs -z4 -d
:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/dev-cpp
login" (in "C:\Dev-Cpp")
Logging in to
:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/dev-cpp
CVS password:
cvs.exe [login aborted]: could not find out home directory
Command complete (exit code: 1)
Works fine on my Widnows 2000 SP3 with the same Dev-C++
configuration.
Might be a CVS problem, entered it to keep track of it,
willreport it to the CVS team aswell (but I doubt, that
they still support Windows 98SE).

Yeah, you are right. I also knew it wasn't related to
Dev-C++ after a few tests. Maybe Dev-C++ can set that var on
Win9x system to workaround that problem?

that could be a little tricky, especially on windows 2000.
