Works fine on my Widnows 2000 SP3 with the same Dev-C++
configuration.

Might be a CVS problem, entered it to keep track of it,
willreport it to the CVS team aswell (but I doubt, that
they still support Windows 98SE).

    I don't think this is a problem with dev-cpp

    Yeah, you are right. I also knew it wasn't related to
    Dev-C++ after a few tests. Maybe Dev-C++ can set that var on
    Win9x system to workaround that problem?

    that could be a little tricky, especially on windows 2000.
    for now let's move it to feature requests.
