When I compile a C program, which included the file sys/wait.h , the compile said no such file
What can I do
Please help thx
The sys/ heasers are as the name implied system specific. They are not portable to Windows.
You will have to explain how you are using the header (what functions you are using and what you are using them to achieve). That way someone can suggest a Win32 specific method of achieving the same objective.
Actually, I am doing a homework to simulate the shell. So I need to use the fork function.
But eventually, I know that even with the wait.h, I still can't do so. So just leave the question.
But anyway thx very much : )
fork is not really available under windows. as wayne is not here to suggest it i will.
do you really need fork? couldn't you solve the problem with spawn or ShellExecute or CreateProcess?
