k well i just got this program and i have no idea what do. even though im really intrested in making my own program and this is probably what i am going to do in my future for a job, i still have no idea what to do. my first project is to make a small program which tells the user how much cpu usage and how many programs are running on their computer. even though this sounds simple, i dont know what to do. does anyone have any suggestions, tutorials, or sites that i can use to help myself? thank you, if it is ok, plz email me at alexp_8@hotmail.com or just post a reply to this post.

Question:
What programming have you done before.
I ask because the cpu usage , ( iam thinking) would need asm, and if could be done in c / c++ , it seems that will require a high level knowhow.
Iam moving along with my programming in C++, always something to learn.
I would ask around here for good startup books, websites ect to get you ( as i needed a time ago ) in the right direction.
