OK, I am seeing something new this evening. I think I saw a similar report within the last day or two.
Code that I know works is not displaying output when run from within Dev. This includes some of my classic programs, the gcc version one, several hello world codes.
Running Dev 4.9.7.5/gcc-3.2/win98. When I run these programs, the only thing that gets displayed is the pause line, no other ouput is observed.
Ooops, as I was writing this, I just noticed, when I run the executable from Explorer, no output is observed either.
I'm still looking. I did a restart with no change. Will report when I see anything else...

OK, after acouple fo more restarts, and verifying that the code compiled and ran properly with Cygwin's gcc, I ran Norton, which found some issues. After that, I am running again.
The only thing that I can think of that has changed in the last day or so is that I did do an upgrade to Msys (I posted something about that yesterday).
Will keep y'all posted...
