the new mingw is simply wonderful. there's nothig more to say...
and now there is even wxwindows 2.3.3 which fully supports this great compiler!
but now i have a little problem: integrating the new mingw into dev-c++ is easy. compiling wxwindows is easy too.
anyone tried to integrate both in dev-c++? or can anyone give me some advice? the problem is that i can't just replace the libs and include files, the new gcc needs different parameters to compile it. (i even tried to set them in the project options, but i wasn't very lucky)
of course i can still write my prog in dev-c++ and compile it by hand using my own makefile... but that isn't really the way it should be ;-))
are there any plans to release dev-c++ with mingw 2 soon? there aren't many reasons anymore to stay with the 1.0 release... especially since wxwindows is no finally compatible :-)
thanks for any tips...
