I think that it is already a big effort from the participants of this forum to answer newbie questions, Windows API is much more complicated, if you don't mean the questions like "how to create a window". It's a rule that if you already have a somewhat advanced knowledge, you have to manage by yourself. You may ask questions, if someone happens to know then he certainly answers, but with Windows API it's often just necessary to experiment and search any available additional information, nobody has a time to do this work for anybody who asks a question.
