Because I need to use a stable enviroment I've tried dev v.4.
It's cool.
But the Dev package installer didn't work!!!
First I have installed over the C++ directory the mingw ver...
2.0.0.3..and then I have installed the Dev 4.9.7.0 in another directory.
I have copied the package manager executable..packman.exe from 4.9 to 4.0 directory(overwriting the old).
Unistall 4.9.7.0.
It seems to work well.If I 'll find errors I 'll send a new post.
Is my solution right? Can cause other problems?
I hope my post is useful..
Cheers

I guess it won't cause problems. Here's another way: Install latest mingw in a seperate dir. Download latest dev-cpp exe only and install it! Set the paths and you're done. Be aware that this way debugging dev-cpp won't work. Use Insight instead.

Like you have done I have installed mingw in another directory because I had some little probles...
For anyone who have to try..read the txt.file regarding the installation of another mingw compiler...there a lot of things and setting to do first for fix all
