Hi, I've recently started a HND in programming course and need to get my mathematics up to scratch!
Can anyone suggest a DECENT mathematics for computing book?
Many thanks, Dan.

If you don't even know the specific fields of mathematics you will need to study for programming, you are so completely screwed.
Thank you for a great help!
All I need is a good book to study from, Indices law is a part of this course.
I know that most programmers are recluse but helpful and nice individuals and was just asking for some friendly help. Anyone with a sensible answer?
The Screwed one.
I don't know any specific book titles. You might, however, look at this site: http://www.accu.org/
They have a programming book review database that is broken down by category. Hope this is some help.
I thank Mr. Fiedler for his help.
Cheers mate!
This should help some.
All the best,
Dan.
