Hello,
I am having great difficulties changing from one project to another in
/dev-/C++. . About 90% of the time, the procedure does not work where I click
on "Open Project or File", find a file with a 'dev' extension, click
on it, and then click on the 'Open' button after the filename appears in the
window that says 'Filename'. It comes up and asks me "Are you sure you
want to close Project X", where "Project X" is the currently-
loaded project. When I click on "Yes" it almost never works. Often
times it comes up with 'Project1' in the box on the left that tells me which
project is loaded. I almost never can get it to load the proper project.. It
is a real time-waster. Does anyone have a hint? I have tried it on two
different PC's (XP home, XP Professional). I even deleted it from my home
computer and re-installed it. It says it's Version 4.9.9.2.
I don't know if there's a workaround for this, or did I install it wrong?
It seems to like 'Project 1' a lot. It always loads to this project when I
first start up Dev-C++. Any help is deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance.
