DEV-C++ and NDK link error?!?

I use dev-c++ and try to write a program for the OpenLDAP but I cannot compile it because I get link errors when I try to use the DLL and the LIB files in the NDK download. I am on windows NT for the moment. What is the workaround of this problem, as I am stuck and I cannot continue anymore.

ps: in the windows NDK there are no .a files
