ok. I have Dev-C++ on a USB flash drive. I am trying to set it up so I don't have to play with the directories every time I switch computers. Does anybody know how to set it to look for the proper directories on the flash drive, regardless of the drive letter changing on different computers?
I have seen shortcuts used that specify windows root directory. Are there any that specify the drive that the executable was started in? I read the USB install in the FAQ. Not quite what I am looking for.

thanks cpns. I just downloaded it and it does what I was talking about. I ran it in the drive i downloaded to and I ran it from my flash drive. Both times, it automatically updated the directories to the drive it was on. Works like a charm. Too bad I havn't found it before. Thanks again cpns.

Sorry, I just came across the post about the signatures.

Not sure if this helps? https://sourceforge.net/projects/devcpp-portable/
Or is that what you are using already?

Since a solution was provided three weeks ago, what was the point of bumping this thread merely to announce your ignorance!?
