I have a problem: when I want to include <complex>, I get a lot of errors, because the compiler doesn't seem to find the include files. I tried to edit the different header files by hand, but soon gave up because there are simply too much places where the path of the header files must be changed. Some header files seem to be 'hidden' in the /mingw32/bits directory, but this is not a general case.
I run bloodshed on Win XP.
Is this a bloodshed bug, or do I make mistakes ?
Kind regards,
Ronny

Wayne... I am almost sure this is the bits problem... how come it is a precious few smart enough to figure that out? and I think there are even less people who will try searching the forum first... sigh...
Zero Valintine
just search for 4.9.7.0 iostream... you will likely find a solution... or three hundred

I was having some trouble with console compiliation (lots of errors with includes) but found that if you go under the includes directory options, and add all the subdirectories of the include directory.

if you get it i am sure colin would love to have a nut like you onboard...
I bought it jbuilder and c++builder... jbuilder sucked to no end... I sent it back... damn it was bad... wound up getting rid of the others as well... C++builder was great but... damn... you gotta love DevCpp... (lol... I picked a free ide over a $1000 ide... thats saying something)... got rid of delphi until I find time to renew myself to pascal... I wonder... what version of delphi does the devteam use... think they fit the bill for the "architect" edition?

PS. To anyone curious... yes... I did spend around $3500 on a whim... and to answer any questions about my level of insanity... I once had a $6000 phone bill... ah... the good ol days... I wish people still bought computers from me :-(

You called me a *nut* Zero! Awww, I didn't know you cared! *Heart warmed*
I had delphi 4.5 on my laptop for a long time, deleted it in one of those bulemic purges of my hard drive.
I read a lot of negative reviews of JBuilder, sounded like they were really droppping the capabilties of the entry level version way down.
I first learned C++ on Turbo C++ , and then C++ Builder. Gentleman at work who is active, or was in the Borland Users Group told me there is is the definite feeling that C++ Builder is second fiddle to Delphi.
I used Pascal for years in grad school, then Ada for 7 years while I was working my last program, so, in *theory*, I should be able to use Delphi...I hear the snickering now...

It would help a lot if you would post your code and tell what version of Dev and gcc you are using?
