Cannot create template in DevC++

Hello,

I use windows Xp sp2, Bloodshed Dev C++ version 4.9.9.2. . Learning C

The File->New-Template button is disabled (greyed out) and I cannot create a template. I have reinstalled DevC++ but it did not help.

I tried to serach the forums but did not get any sensible output

Any idea what can be wrong?

You have to have a project open. Either create a new project or open an existing one, and the template button should become enabled.
