Is anyone experiencing the same thing as me?
I am using Dev 5.0 beta 6 on winXP to open a .cpp file and the task manager shows that CPU usage goes up to 100%.. and my comp goes really slow.. And way to fix this?
Thanks

I've been having the same problem under Win 98. Even if I just stare at some code and scroll around a bit, my system and GDI resources slowly drop from, say, 60 or 70 percent down to nothing. Then the DEV environment starts misbehaving badly. I end up having to save every couple of minutes, exit out of DEV to get my resources back, and then relaunch.
Perhaps this has been discussed before, but I haven't come across a solution.

Try checking the code-completion options under "Tools->Editor options". I noticed my IDE was sluggish when I had a couple of big header files in the cache.
Then again, it could just be my computer... ;)
I'm using 4.9.6.4 on WinXP...
Cheers,
Chris
