I know the forums are very much alive, and that I'm relived to see, but is the Bloodshed.net site a dead site?
I have the latest Beta version offered on the site. Version 4.9.9.2 and it seems to get teh job done while I'm learing C++, but I've noticed that the Bloodshed site is not showing a news/update since Feb 21st, 2005 when it announced the new beta Version 4.9.9.2 and all.
This makes me wounder if Dev-C++ as an IDE is dead beyond this point. And I actully like this IDE, better then most of the Open Source IDE's I've tried.
If Bloodshed or Dev-C++ is not dead, could some one point me to where the site is? is there a later version of Dev-C++? it seems like 4.9.9.2 is as new as it gets but just incase I'm gonna ask.
thank you.

Development does indeed seem to have ceased. Being open source you could resuscitate it, but the source being in Delphi is a bit of a turn off for most interested C/C++ developers.
The derivative wxDevCpp is alive and more functional (http://wxdsgn.sourceforge.net/). There was once talk of merging the projects, but I do not see the point, just use wxDevCpp.

I remember discussion about making it into C++ but I guess that never happened eh?
Probably not a trivial task because of the reliance on VCL components.
I noticed that as well and have the same question. Been some time since I was around last and seem to be a little out of date :P
