Been that way for quite a while - pushing a year, I think.
We were "discovered" by spammers. They were persistent too. I would try and turn anonymous posting back on after a few weeks or a couple of months, and boom, they were back.
Somehow anon posting got turned on on the users group, which is kind of a dead back water. In a few weeks, they had a ton of cr*p posted there...it took me days to get it cleaned up.
