Problems Reinstalling Dev-C++

    I decided to reinstall Dev-C++ after an unsuccesful attempt to install the DX8 Package linked to from bloodsheds website. I deleted then installed it but changed the directory to "C:\Dev-C++" instead of "C:\Dev C++" because some of the commands don't like spaces.

    It didn't ask me for my language, and didn't reset the directories to my new path. Basically it won't compile anything because it thinks everything is in "C:\Dev C++" which I deleted prior to installation. I need to delete the configuration where ever it is on my machine not just the "Dev C++" Directory.

    BTW I'm installing Dev-C++ 5.0 beta 7 (4.9.7.0) (10 MB) with Mingw/GCC 2.95.3 (devcpp4970-gcc295)

    Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks,

      If I read too much in here, sorry.  I would uninstall *then* delete, (we are talking kill it), restart before I re-installed.

      I did uninstall before deleting ... the prob is it didn't get rid of the config files.

      In any case I found I had to delete the config files from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Jeremy Richey\Local Settings\Application Data'.

      Thanks for the reply, and hopefully it will :)
