Can't install the Dec-C++ IDE. I have proper permissions on my computer, but the installer fails whining something about directory permissions. (An obvious bug in the installer.) Could someone provide me with a proper .zip version to lord@sci.fi so I could at least test the program out? Thank you.
(Win32, on Windows2k SP2) (Forgot to mention)

I have the same problem. I'm trying to install version 4 under WinXP Professional and I get the following error, "Unable to create a directory under C:\Dev-C++\Icon. Please check your access rights to this directory."
I'm guessing that there is something inherent in Win2K/WinXP that the 4.x installer doesn't like. I tried installing the Dev-C++ 5 (latest) beta, but the compile icon wouldn't appear for me and I couldn't use the Insight debugger with it.
Any help on how to get 4 to install on WinXP would be greatly appreciated.
