I have a problem whit using Gev-C++. I have windows vista home basic. The problem is that I cant run the program. It seem to that I need a compailer. But i dont no.

Its all in capitals and it is regularly bumped to the top of the forum " PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION". If you can't find that then please stand away from the computing device!
If you don't have a compiler installed with Dev-C++ you installed the wrong distribution - the primary distribution includes one. It is more likely that you have encountered the 'known problem' with Vista and Dev-C++. Alternative solutions to that suggested in the "read first" thread are: 1) use the derivative wxDev-C++, 2) use a different IDE and/or compiler altogether.

Vista broke some significant things with respect to MinGW that impact how
paths are specified. Fixing these issues are non-trivial but many have
done it. It does form somewhat of a high pass filter on independent attitude
and computer knowlege though.
