Well first, I'm not part of the developers crew :) but as far as I can see there actually is (was) work being done to port Dev-Cpp to Linux (using Kylix I guess).
I myself would really like to see Dev-Cpp ported, because working with KDevelop is a real pain and Anjuta is nice but I like Dev-Cpp better.
I think the real problem is that Dev-Cpp would have to be rewriten from scratch to be real portable. Hope this will happen some day... :)

I have seen, there es as a Linux-Version on Bloodshed-CD and for Download on SF.
Are these versions not usable?
actually I have chosen Dev-C++ because there is no Anjuta-Binary for Win, und I thoug there is a Version fr Linux :-)
