    Hi Devels,

I like your dev-cpp. But I have to deny it just because of the fact that this nice product is not available under Linux :(

Is it planned to change policy one day and become a *portable* dev-cpp?

I'd be happy to here "Yes, we plan it." :-)

    kind regards,
    Dr.Neurosurgus

      Hi there!
Well first, I'm not part of the developers crew :) but as far as I can see there actually is (was) work being done to port Dev-Cpp to Linux (using Kylix I guess).
I myself would really like to see Dev-Cpp ported, because working with KDevelop is a real pain and Anjuta is nice but I like Dev-Cpp better.
I think the real problem is that Dev-Cpp would have to be rewriten from scratch to be real portable. Hope this will happen some day... :)

      Bye

I have seen, there es as a Linux-Version on Bloodshed-CD and for Download on SF.
      Are these versions not usable?

actually I have chosen Dev-C++ because there is no Anjuta-Binary for Win, und I thoug there is a Version fr Linux :-)

      Pat
