when asked to write the folder i would like to install
dev-c in, i cannot write a folder with a " " space (for
example, in "c:\Program files\dev-c" there's an space
in "program files")... when i try to write it in 8.3
format (progra~1 instead of program files) the program
says that is also not allowed to write a "~".

I have also had this problem with the beta 5 version installer, I even tried the system environment path %programfiles% but that also didn't work :(
