compiles a program, and runs it (e.g. compile and run, or
just run) and if the program does not work properly (e.g.
infinite loop, crashes, exceptions...) sometimes you
cannot compile the program anymore and the icons are
disabled. The anoying part is that you have to restart
the program and load everything again. One way to go
around is not to run the program from inside DevCpp.
I tried to reproduce the bug. Try compiling a program,
and then right click and end task. It will probably think
that the program is still running, expecting some call
back to Dev-Cpp.
versions of the compiled program without closing the
properly.
specifications:
I am running MS Windows XP ver 5.1 build 2600 service
pack 2 (which sucks by the way). I managed to
reproduce bug #1 but not #2. They are inter-related
somehow (e.g. usualy the multiple versions are caused
by programs not closed properly). The dev-cpp version
is 4.9.9.0 (in exe says 4.9.8.10 version 5).

if the program hangs, you may have to kill it from task manager
it's obvious that Dev-C++ can't invoke a compilation if the
program is still running; however, it would be a nice to add
a "kill" feature
