A new beginning!

I am scrapping the old Basic AI Test due to the horrid nature of it's programming and starting from scratch. I'm working on a more expandable and dynamic system and interface, more information can be found on the homepage.

Developing AI Construction

I've currently been busy considering the aspects involved in the organizational structure of a developing AI to try and determine what exactly is necessary. I think I'm gonna develop a system that mimics human processes in order to gain a more in depth understanding of how objects within an intelligent structure should communicate. Hopefully this will work out well!

Next Stage

The first stage of development, creating a basic AI test was primarily intended to progress some of my skills and get an idea of what direction the next stages should/shouldn't go in. I think all that's going to get done with the first stage has been accomplished. An unstable testing program, dAI_Stage1_a00, has been released in CVS module dAI_releases. The next stage of development will be focused more toward developing a much more focused and realistic testing program and will be the last testing stage.

Major change in development

Thanks to a friend, I was recently made aware of some limitations in the code that I will now be changing, most important being the implementation of a linked list for all the AI objects. The changes are going to require some major editing and so Stage 1 will take slightly longer than expected but it should be well worth the wait.
