Hello, Since I am not so active on BabelZilla as before and I do not have a time to update extensions, are you interested to manage your Destroy the Web add-on in BabelZilla? I contacted you before about it. You just need to include translations done by other people in BabelZilla to the .xpi file. To whom it may concern: Hello! I've enjoyed using your "Destroy The Web" addition to Firefox for the past few months, and have delighted in being the first person to destroy a page, and in rare cases, the best in destroying a more popular website. Recently (today, in fact), however, I have found that while I can still shoot up pages I am unable to submit my score. This was immediately after I had downloaded the newest (1.0) version of the add-on, though I had shot up one page beforehand and successfully submitted my score. By "unable to submit my score", I mean that when I had typed in my username (TorrentialFirestorm) and password and then hit enter, the page simply refreshed. I also noticed that when this happened to a page containing an apostrophe, the /// that it added gained more slashes. I have no clue what that means, but thought it was worth mention. I would like to ask that you may do your best to remedy this problem, whether that means a process for me to follow or a fix in the next version of the add-on. This is a request but not for help, simply, the game is rig-able. Anyone with firebug can edit the page details (edit hidden elements of the submitted form) and submit any score to the, simply look at the person with the second highest score (NicolasJR). Simply, there must be a way with the form (which has a breakdown of our score) which submits our score otherwise it is defeated. Anyone with +400,000 score should be removed (which includes me as I am Smart_Monkey). My highest legitimate score is around 150,000 on the ascii site (i think). Its a great game, just needs some improving. I am sick of competing for the top spot illegitimately. Another way to fix it is by using some encryption method of hiding the score (in the game id or something) so we don't know what to edit or how to edit it. |

I recently played on a page with a Flash advert (http://shop.skype.com/intl/en-gb/tvwebcams/) and during the pre-game countdown the flash advert was above the "greyout" and then the game's crosshair-style cursor could not go within the area occupied by the advert, it just stopped on the edges as I moved over it. Also, even during a game clicking on the advert follows its hyperlink which changes the page and voids the round. Regards, Dan |

Hi, Just discovered "destroy the web" today through the top 25 firefox add-ons list. :) I tried out the ubuntu forums subscriptions page: http://ubuntuforums.org/subscription.php But after that on the scoreboard it says http://ubuntuforums.org/subblockedion.php Why is that? |

Hi, I added "Destroy the Web" into FireFox 3.6.7 (beta) and when I click on the icon, nothing happens. If I click on the icon again, it tells me that there is already a game going, but I don't see anything different. There is no crosshairs as it shows in the pictures and I can click all day, but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I went to the web site for it and it talks about "while the web page is loading" and stuff, but I don't understand what that means. Can you please clarify for me what's going on? I am not the only user reporting this same experience (see the reviews on the FireFox addon page for it), so there must be something that it doesn't like on at least some of the FireFox setups. I want to use DestroyTheWeb as a productivity add-on, not as game. It is good thing just to manually remove some elements from page and keep the rest. Now I use FireBug for this, but it is not very comfortably to open it, find element, open the context menu, delete it and close firebug. I want to be able to use DestroyTheWeb like just press "Destroy" button, start shooting (may be without score counting/animation), press "Destoy" button again (to stop), use cleaned up page. There will be good thing if I could save half-"destroyed" page. Also intro should be configurable to, for example, 0.5 - 1 seconds. |

Dear Destroy the Web creators,
I can't find a way to install your game on IE or chrome. My one friend's
parents doesn't like installing new things (like decent browsers), so he's
stuck with IE. I have firefox but I like chrome alot better. So, where can I
find a decent install for one of them.
