I've decided NOT to create or work on a Windows version of isg, as I don't have enough time to do any of that, it would take too long for me to waste time porting it, I can be doing other things. If you want a win32 version of deStats, I might find some time to create a configuration file and include cygwin.dll or something in it, so the Linux API calls can be used in Windows and it will compile correctly. That's if I get time. Other than that, I want to start my IRC client up; deIRC. I don't know if I'll ever get that done either with my minimal time.
I have created two separate versions of deStats. One is built in Borland C++ Builder now (not yet released), and I will continue to work on the native Linux version. Updates will be a little slower because of that, but I figured I could make deStats a little more useful and popular if I expanded the platform on which it can be used on. I may create a GUI for deStats/isg Linux (for those of you who have X), and have it an option during compile whether or not to use it. That might take awhile though, it depends on my time. It's almost time deStats becomes its mature form, as I'm getting tired of working on it and I want to find something else to do. I still have a couple updates left in me yet. Once I get a fully stable version of both working, I probably won't release another update unless someone (enough people that is,) requests a cool feature that I think should be in it.... read more
Read my forum article on why this will be happening. I'm going to be delaying the version 1.5.0 / v2.0.0 development plans and operations, until I have more time.
I just released version 1.4.5 of ISG/deStats.
I'm currently ripping apart ISG/deStats, and
I'm going to be creating a new dynamic nickname
allocation system, and a custom css, page color,
logfile format system for y'all..
I don't know how long this will take, especially
because of my limited time. Don't expect another
release for awhile... this is probably the last
(unless some major, but easily fixable bug is
found and submitted)...
I released another version, I did some short misc. function rewrites, and I reverted the "daily table" back to old-school so the sizes are proportional with all data, that is.... one day doesn't "appear" to be more active than another, the bars are sized down to proportion with the rest of the days on the calendar (if you get what I'm saying)...
Anyways, hopefully this fixes a few issues with the 1.3 series that I had not fixed yet. I am going to convert some structures to memory pointers and all that other good stuff to speed up the processing of large logfiles (12mb+) to almost 15 seconds [hopefully].... read more
I forgot to fix up the "URL parser" in the newest deStats. I created a follow-up release to 1.3.2 called 1.3.6 (don't mind the numeric increment... heh). I will probably release it tomorrow night, so it should be available as soon as I get some time.
Anyways, thanks for checking out deStats. I will continue trying to find time to develop more of it in the future. If someone wants to help me dev. give me a hollar.
I made a deStats/isg update. Download the latest release. It's pretty stable, let me know if there are any major bugs that need to be fixed quickly, and I'll try to release a new patched version (or whatever), ASAP. I have 2 future plans for isg, one is Long-term statistics, and a Monthly chart (similar to mIRCStats). After that, I will add a couple of more "Big Numbers" modules.
In the late, late future, I might make a "pagenated stats" system, but that's really stupid and contrary to my self-opinion. mIRCStats made a mistake with the multiple pages thing in my opinion. And the personal stats are stupid so I don't think I will work on any of that crap, unless you want me to.
