#1754 New super mario bros and mario kart
My new super mario bros isnt working, same as mario kart. When i want to open the rom it says: Could not erase data. Turn the power off ant reinsert card. I have already tried to reinstall the rom and the emulator but it isnt working. I have seen the same question as me, but the information from there wasnt helping.

You must have changed some slot-2 settings? Redownloading desmume won't help if you haven't replaced the desmume.ini settings. Delete your desmume.ini file and also download a newer version of desmume than this 10 years old version and try again. be sure to dearchiveall files to a directory on your desktop (it's the most reliable way)

Whenever I boot up the game (Mario Kart DS) its fine, but when i begin a grand prix the whole thing starts lagging really bad. I've tried adjusting the screen size to see if that would work but it didn't work. What can I Do to fix this problem?

What is considered a hack? also I saw other people play this game and use desume . I have also saw other people ask questions about this game. Also, when I asked for help getting blaze black working, I meant that when I tried to load it failed and said invalid rom type. I just want to know how to fix it. Zeromus
A hack is a modified rom. Either you modified (i.e., hacked) it yourself or you downloaded it from someone who modified it and you need to get support from whoever modified (i.e. hacked) it.
A poorly modified rom might be invalid. Seems like that happened to you.
Hey zeromus, every time i use a cheat code on new super mario bros, the screen is just black and nothing happens
You're probably using cheats for the wrong game or the wrong region. Or the cheats could just plain be wrong. Also make sure you're using the most recent version of desmume, some older versions have bugs in the cheat processing.
Hey I need help, I want to play "NEW SUPER MARIO BROS" but when I start it the music and the fps go into fast motion. I try to lower the fps but it doesn't work, what do I do?
delete your desmume.ini file, you have chosen an option to do fast motion but don't remember that you did it.
New Super Mario Bros. is running slow. It's not even close to 60 fps!
Still, it's pretty cool you could get it to run at all on a toaster.
